HALL HIRE

Our new Hall Hire Form, approved by the Parochial Church Council, is available on application, or please phone 0208 572 3794.

Conditions and timings for hire are flexible, although priority is given to our regular slots such as weekday Masses, Brownies, Community Bingo and Karate.

The main conditions for hire are:-

- Deposit of £75 for private individuals and £100 for commercial bookings to be paid in advance and returned within 48 hours after the event subject to the other conditions below being satisfied.

- Only Mainstream Christian activity may be held by Religious Groups.

- All bookings to be arranged through Grace Nakate on the phone number on the second line above.

- Cleaning and tidying up to be done before vacating, and if the grounds and car park have been used, then any litter must be cleared up and all rubbish taken away by the hirer.

- There is a limit of 100 persons for private bookings and this is strictly enforced.

THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL HAS DECIDED THAT SATURDAY EVENING PRIVATE BOOKINGS ARE AVAILABLE TILL SEPTEMBER.

HIRE RATES - DOWNLOAD BOOKING FORM (Word file)

At a meeting of the Parochial Church Council on 31st March the above Hall Hire policy was agreed and the Hall Hire Rates were increased modestly from 1st June 2003, the first increase in many years. Hall rates can be obtained from the Hall Booking Secretary and are set according to the following groups:

- Parish Rate for regular Community Groups.
- Clubs rate for regular bookings
- Parish rate for one off bookings
- Commercial rates for weekday or weekend bookings

Thanks to a grant from British Airports Authority, new double glazed sealed units were installed in September 2000 to replace our rotting and leaking windows. New windows were also installed to the Gallery Chapel area and the Hall Kitchen. A commemorative plaque in recognition of their generosity was unveiled in November 2000.

A grant from the Kensington Area Committee was awarded to the Parish in November 2000 for a re-roof to the Hall, Choir Vestry, part of the Vicarage and the parapets to the Church - hopefully ending 30 years of leaks. The work was finished on 22nd December 2000.

Thanks to a grant from the Diocese major electrical work has been undertaken and completed to both Church and Hall. Further work financed by the parish saw the completion of the renovation of the electrical system in April 2002.
